I hate wool for that reason. I like cottons and linens which, being natural fabrics, stain. But that is ok.

Well stains usually can be vanquished, especially if treated early. If you let them set for several years it becomes more challenging.

Tomorrow I am going to take down my Fall/Thanksgiving decor and put out my Christmas decor. Will declutter my wreath I currently have on the coffee table. Cat has been chewing on it, swallowing parts and then throwing it up. Not sure what it's made of but I worry about something getting wrapped around or causing an obstruction in her intestines. I have another less dangerous wreath or a little wagon filled with pinecones I can put there next year.

It's definitely time to declutter the wreath if it's making your cat sick!

Sis and I took 7 large bags of winter clothing from Mom's house on Thanksgiving. Today we are going to a couple of holiday fairs/markets, and will drop off the clothing at some local thrift stores in our travels.

Had the park sale here today. Went through my clothes and “garage” and donated all extraneous “stuff”. And, found the only thing I was looking for… a stainless steel slotted spoon! Paid a whole $0.25!! Win win!

Great score--we were on the hunt for one of those and it was hard to find a quality one.
Doing one shelf or cabinet a day, and did one cabinet in kitchen and got rid of 3 or 4 things and straightened it up and found dog flea medicine, so happy about that. Did two bookshelf shelves a couple days ago and got rid of 3 books.

Tybee: It's been almost 2 years since we "moved in" to our new kitchen, and I know there are things we put into cabinets that have not seen the light of day since. At some point I should start doing a cabinet by cabinet review, too.

I wish I had open spaces! Like you, Rosa, I have things in there I don't even remember. I will do the ones over the dishwasher today, since we have a new dishwasher!

Went to a sibling's for two days of crafting so I managed to make and then give away some smaller projects. Since I didn't bring them back home, I consider that purging. LOL
