Four (or three or five) favorite movies

I just read that the Pope's 4 favorite movies are
    It's a Wonderful Life
    Sound of Music
    Ordinary People
    Life is Beautiful

which was a fun thing to know. It made me think of my own favorite movies, and so far I've come up with

    It's a Wonderful Life
    Avalon
    Baby Boom
The Best Years of Our Lives

Maybe if folks share their favorite movies it will give us all something new to watch. . .

The Shining was definitely the scariest movie I ever saw in the theatre.

    Under The Tuscan Sun
    The Replacements
and for pure fun, any of the Tremors movies. LOL

I don't know if they are truly my favorites out of all the movies I've seen, but these are some that come to mind:

    Dramas:
    Places in the Heart
    The Dollmaker
    Schindler's List
    Wizard of Oz

    Comedies
Overboard (the original one with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell)
    Trading Places

I know what you mean, it would be really hard to just pick that few.
