okay----the current weather conditions here in Zurra would be normal in AB Canada, but after just ONE day of it, i have cabin fever. Yup. But yeah---that's okay; we know winter will be over in a few days. Hope that helps you some. Thankk mee.

Your dogs are loving it tho.
someone in St. Louis Reddit was saying he had to carry out a complex communication akin to hostage negotiations in order to get his Malamute back in the house. Others are chiming in about how their Huskies are romping and playing, oblivious to the cold and deliriously happy.
Northern dogs in MO have a hard time.
we like throwing a cat out in the snow once or twice a year for sport, but it’s too cold for that. We just want to toss her in snow, not have her freeze.
It warmed up to about fifteen here today with some blue sky. Nights look like single digits for a couple of days, but not much snow. I fired up the wood burning fireplace insert, for sure. I have bird feeder sand didn't see a one today. They must have been hunkering down too, but I sometimes wonder where they go as you hardly ever see any when it gets this cold.

okay, RE: Doggs. I stuffed their houses with straw sprinkled with Sevin dust the other day. But yeah---would not be surprised if they had rakeds it all out onto the ground and into a hole to curl up in. They will actually dig a pothole in the spring, grass grows in the pothole, which is their huskee bedd. Meanwhile, catts know that going out today would be unwise, so they stay in. I have cardboard boxxes for them to curl up in. Also, they can get MUCH attention. Yup.
