Another good article!

I personally think Paulson gives the topic credibility, as opposed to yet another climate change article by yet another environmentalist. His "think-and-do" tank sounds promising.. and yet there are so many hurdles still to overcome.

I agree that an article coming from a noted public business figure other than another environmentalist helps to make an impact. I liked his analogy between the financial bubble and global warming. I would probably go a little further to say that much of the financial crisis could have been avoided had it not been for deregulation of the financial industry, possibly starting with Reagan, the modern father of deregulation. It gives due consideration to those who oppose the long arm of the federal government overextending itself, with their disregard to the potential consequences.

it's pretty sad that regardless of how many climate scientist raise the strongest possible alarm it takes a wall street person to give the topic credibility. They are however the people that WEILD most actual power so any change will probably have to come from them - so it might be hopeful in that sense (though it's not about credibility - it's about power).
