Hello. My name is CathyA and I'm a stock tank addict.
Funny......this time I bought a "used" stock tank from Amazon's Warehouse Deals, which I had never bought from before. It was about $25-30 less than a new one, so I thought I'd give it a try. Supposedly, it had some "minor" defects. I prepared myself for it to be a mess..........which probably would have been okay, 'cause I called Amazon and they said if it was really bad, they'd discount it 40% if I still wanted to keep it, or refund me completely if I wanted to send it back. But I did have plants that really needed planted soon.
Well, it came today, and it was perfect! In fact, it was better than the "new" ones I've paid full price for in the past. Weird. Maybe it had been used to store nuclear waste? :~)
Actually, I called before I ordered it to be sure it hadn't been used for anything toxic and she said it was new, just scraped up a bit.
Such a deal I got!
And I just planted some peppers and cherry tomatoes in it.
