Yahoot! I paid off my old medical bill from the broken toe debacle from two years ago and just realized I owe nuthin' to nobody right now! Life is treating me very well in the desert and I have been able to save a ton of money. It's such a good feeling to know I have a decent cushion to fall back upon if needed!

What a thrill that this move turned out to be a good thing. I remember how aprehensive you were about taking this job. And
I am sure thngs havent been perfect, but you are a resiliant, creative person and can make things work. Yay for you!

Congratulations!
Just my opinion, but I have viewed debt free as a three part goal.
First part of debt free is getting there (not owing anyone).
See a lot of failure at the second part, staying there. (many revert to old/bad habits)
The third part is where I dream of being. Having enough passive income to pay your monthly bills, without ever needing to look at them (although still checking for fraud, etc).

Wonderful!

I am off today to wander WF in A2 so I will think of you! PS my son left WF last year and now if I mention I am going there he responds "As for a year of my life back";)

I am so happy for you, SiouzQ!! I remember the whole threads on "should I/shouldn't I." You took a very brave step in life and it seems to have paid off!! Kudos on that, and on your debt reduction and savings!

That's wonderful! You have such a great little set up there. Did that cute kitchen counter get finished yet?
