It looks as if the Fulton County, GA DA's office is considering criminal charges against Trump for attempting to overturn the 2020 election results. I am off for two days finally later this week - I think I'll make Hoppin John and freeze it, to be unfrozen for any criminal charges against DJT arising from Georgia.

I respect you making Hoppin John for any occasion but I think of it as a South Carolina dish, not Georgia. Maybe a pecan or peach pie, or shrimp. Native Georgian here.
