I got my yard work and errands done; now to finish putting away the goods. Got a great deal on Kombucha at Grocery Outlet--2/4$--my faves, ginger and grapefruit. I know, I should be making my own. Now to whip up some toasted walnut and spinach pesto.

Birch Beer aka Pennsylvania Dutch root beer. "made from an old Pennsylvania Dutch recipe" according to the can. Used to drink it as a kid and had almost forgotten about it til a friend dropped off some cans.
Oh man, it hits the spot on a hot summer day, but it's 170 calories and a whopping 41 grams of sugar per can. A very rare treat!

For years, I thought I was part "Dutch" because the message got mangled from "Pennsylvania Dutch (Deutsche)." I guess after a world war or two, "Dutch" sounded more acceptable or something. But the truth will out. Landed here in 1739 on the Loyal Judith, IIRC.

I finally had the crawl space under my bathroom insulated at my house. This means less chance of frozen pipes this winter. A big rave for getting a job done.
