This country would be a much better place if more people were like Carter. He’s a superior person!

But again one doesn't have to ever vote Republican to want the Republican party to be less bad, because if they inevitably have power at some point (and one might desire a multi party system where power wasn't just trading hands between two parties, but that's not the case), then it is just plain sensible to want one's rulers to be as least bad as possible.

Isn't this sad? It used to be you could vote for candidates of different parties and decide who you thought was the best candidate. Not so now. There no longer is a "republican" party or only one in name only. So sad.

Given the drubbing they took in Kansas recently they should be freaking out.

Yeah. Between Trump’s rantings and Biden’s ridiculous “soul of the nation” pontificating, nobody seems to be interested in the real world.

You know this whole scandal could have been avoided had the old gasbag just acted like a sane, responsible adult for once in his life, conceded the election, turned the documents over to the archives, and slunk away to review his grievances in private. We.re all sick of him.

Vote or don't vote. I'll be voting for President Biden, who is doing all I could expect of him and more. He's not Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but he's getting the job done under trying circumstances.

Same here unless there is a viable option.... none so far.

Well the circumstances are trying because his party overreacted to covid, wrecking the economy, putting kids years behind in their education, and driving mental health and addiction epidemics. He also didn't have to fund the Ukrainian war. It negates his getting out of Afghanistan. So glad it looks like my kid will never have children because it's a debt-ridden messed up world they would inherit, not to mention climate change, the one thing I don't hold him responsible for.
