Okay---Today, justa save $$$ by living-off-the-land and also showing how classy I am by consuming Gourmet Food, I been out in the yard turning over every rock to find some snails, so I can do some yummy French Cuisine. Yup. May even throw in a few Slimy Slugs & toadstools, to add flavor. How do you kids like that? But yeah--if I can't/won't/ don't eat it, I'll see if my dogggs like 'em. Then, eat beans or Ramen. Hope that helps you some.2023-03-28 (1).jpg2023-03-28 (1).jpg2023-03-28 (1).jpg2023-03-28 (1).jpg2023-03-28 (1).jpg2023-03-28 (1).jpg

I'm thinking noodles and cabbage with some chicken and veggies thrown in.

Tonight is fancy pants mexican restaurant for dinner. It's friday and neither of us cook on friday. Funny fact, I was looking up the restaurant on yelp and it helpfully suggested "maybe you might also try Circle K". I suppose those microwave burritos at Circle K are kind of the same thing...

Tomorrow is going to be my first attempt at a peruvian dish. Aji Gallina Chicken over rice. The local peruvian restuarant does this quite tasty so I want to try and make it myself. The sauce is an interesting mix of stuff I've never used to make any sauce including yellow chilis, evaporated milk, walnuts, bread, Parmesan cheese, chicken broth and onions and garlic.

The Peruvian chicken came out delicious. It wasn’t as pretty as what the restaurant does. A bit more on the brown side of things instead of bright yellow, and a little thicker sauce. But worth trying again and playing with it a bit.

Red beans and rice. I'll roll up the left overs, plus a can of refried beans, into burritos to freeze for lunches or easy dinners.
