As I understand it, Hungary recently took over the rotating EU Presidency position and Orban has been on a "Peace" mission visiting other non-EU leaders. I believe he was in country for the NATO meetings and also met with Biden while here. Not sure why he visited with Trump although I suspect many world leaders are anticipating a changing of the guard in our government soon and are preparing to cozy up with the new guy sooner than later.Originally Posted by frugal-one

okay--,--this just in---a typical fanaticrat(about like osswald)attempted to kill President Trump. But yeah---the shooter was killed, fortunately, but that still leaves millions of fanaticrats just like him. that said, he will prolly be a icon for their movement.
Seems that those who favor trump ignore the fascist connection. Newsworthy in that this is just before the convention. IF there are truly any undecided voters... take note!
I think a lot of us just believe that innuendo and non-contextualized claims are not deserving of our attention. Rather than participating in that, why don't you tell us the real purpose of Orban meeting with Trump, Biden, Zelenskyy, Putin, Xi and other world leaders over the past couple of weeks and how that promotes fascism.

I wonder if Trump's brush with death will change his outlook on life and politics. I would think it could be a life altering event. One doctor told him the bullet was a fourth of an inch from being fatal. And one headline suggested divine intervention perceptions by his followers. Maybe the Evangelics will see this as a sign that he will lead us out of darkness and into the light.

I see the classified documents case against Trump has been dismissed. He certainly seems to have the luck of the devil lately.
I wonder if that means if he is elected, he can take home any top secrets he wants and store it in his garages and bathrooms for a long time?
