Christmas card printing?

I'm wondering if anyone has experience printing their own Christmas cards. I'm thinking about a folding card with envelopes rather than the postcard like cards I get. I probably could get a kit from someplace like office depot from my home printer, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a commercial place that might have good cardstock and a professional printer. I've had Costco do some decent photo print jobs some time ago, but am no longer a member.

I'm a holdout on the tradition of card exchange.

Rogar, I still do a lot of cards, too. The past 6-7 years I've done a photo card with diving photos, but I didn't do that this year. You might be rather late in the game this year. Do you have photos or not? It was difficult to determine from your post. All the usual places do folding cards, as well as the postcard like cards. If you have photos, Snapfish is nice. I would get my photo cards from Walmart and they do folded cards, too.

I've done a lot with Snapfish--their templates are super easy to use, and you can usually pick up the product at a local business--like Walmart or Walgreens. That was a great benefit for me when I was working up to the very last minute getting calendars done for my kids. (I disagree with Tradd that you're too late in the game)

If you don't want to go that route, try Staples. They are good, but. not as seamless as Snapfish.

It looks like Snapfish is saying a delivery date of Dec. 11, which is time enough for me, but I have an idea for a photo that I've yet to take. I'll have to see when I can put everything together. Staples is a second choice. Thanks. That's great.

I happened to be at an Office Depot today & noticed they have blank cards & envelops in their inventory. I don't print my own, but embellish 6-8 with beading or stitchery for select few friends.

I am trying Snapfish for the first time to print some pictures to clean out my phone. I'm running out of storage. I struggle with storing photos digitally, but I've always done fine with storing physical prints, I have a decent system with a pretty small footprint, so I'm going with that.

I'll start earlier next year. I don't have a Staples near by so it's going to be Office Depot for blank templates. I have a fairly decent home printer, so it might work ok, plus their cards are 60% off right now.

The very few photos I print I get from Walgreens online service. I place the order online and pick up at mu nearest store.

I have used a couple of those online print shops (Zazzle?) for business cards. They have stock images to pull from and I was able to find 2 separate images of iris for my 2 iris clubs.

That's a good discount! Make sure you have extra printer cartridges on hand!

I needed some extra cards. Hallmark does some nice budget cards - 30/$10 at Target. I got two boxes. Good enough price, even though not on sale, to have for next year, too.
