Tomorrow I will return some work pants I ordered from kohl's. I didn't like the fit. I stop by the store on the way home from work.

Yesterday I combined trips. Took Tyler to the music store to get a new mouthpiece & trombone book. Stopped at the health food store where I used the 15% off on Saturday to get some supplements plus bought 2 tubes of vein defense cream on clearance - 40% off. And stopped at World Market to spend my $10 birthday money they emailed me. I did go $5 over. But I got a nice ceramic rolling pin. I've never used ceramic before but I liked the look & feel of it and my old one only has 1 handle left on it.

The talk about painting has reminded me of an older frugal. Bought a 5 gallon bucket of oops paint at Lowes for $50. It looked like a good match for the paint already in the living room. Once I started painting I saw that it was a couple of shades darker. Somewhere between ivory and beige. I actually love it! I painted the one really bad wall in the LR before Ian's bon voyage party. I figured if I painted any more it would be a unfinished paint job. BUT if I stopped it would be a focal wall LOL

I also found some curtains at Big Lots, of all places. They were only $14 a panel and I really like them. They actually kind of match the paint but they have texture to them. If I had thought about it much before I bought them I probably wouldn't have gotten them. Having the room all one color sounds boring to me but to my surprise I actually find it very soothing. When work calms down some I will finish painting.

Oh, I also got $3 in CVS bucks for my birthday. I decided to use it to buy the bifera iron I take. I looked and it didn't appear to be on sale at all. Seemed to be the usual $21.49. But when I checked out the total was only $13.49 plus tax. On the receipt it looks like the price rang up at only $16.49 but I am not sure why.
