Actually, it was more disappointment than mirth.We keep (kept) the beaters separate from the mixer, so when I inserted the beaters I figured out something was wrong. But I had to use them anyway, so I did. The beater did turn and the weight of the mixer kept it in. But I was very careful in removing the beaters from the batter. It still was kind of messy. Then I went shopping...

Looks like relative success overall in October with a few people hitting the 100 mark and everyone who participated is at least a bit lighter!
