I ran across a guy in our co-op doing something like that and I said to him, "You're supposed to use the scoops." And got a dirty look for it. Who knows what happens when we're not there to see it. So I suppose it's either don't buy bulk or take protective measures....

Boo, more of a daily whine, I got stuck at home with sick pooping dogs. I have missed most of a daylong event with a speaker I really wanted to see. The bright spot is that if they seem to have settled down in the next hour or so, I'll go for the second half of the speaker. And if not, well, I guess I get lots of quiet time this weekend. At least it's just some poopies.

Wish I didn't feel so let down. When you are looking forward to houseguests you haven't seen in a long time, spend a lot of $$/time making it cozy and clean, and it turns out they just intend to use our house as a sort of "home base" to visit with the people they like more.....well, it feels a little heavy in my throat.

But the sun is shining, the dogs need to be hiked, and life goes on! At least we'll have some nice bedding and furniture to enjoy after they're gone.

Cold. Cold sheets, cold tiles, cold doors and cold floors. No winter jacket, heater broken, and end of semester homework piled high.

Looks like I might be having to stay up all night once weekly for work now. I am P-ed off. There have already been nights I have had to wake in the middle of the night for work, but it's the regularity of it that's coming that makes it a new low.

I mean when there's a good chance of having to stay up past midnight till 1 or 2 for work AND THEN having to get up at 4:30am or something that same night, yes you can sneak some sleep in here and there, but my sleep is not actually that adaptible, and then I'm expected to go to work persumably at something resembling a normal time the next day as well! Such BS jobs. Tell me again how wonderful work is ... much much more wonderful than bodily needs like sleep, why who needs sleep when the fulfillment of one's soul is at hand ...

Puglogic, that is terrible. In addition to the free hotel thing, are they expecting free meals, too? Fuzzyratsnots.

Jilly, you're so funny Not truly terrible as much as just wishing things were different. I doubt they'll even eat here much, probably eat out a lot. And they're not bad people, just have different preferences than I'd hoped. Oh well! It was a great day here, they arrive tomorrow, all will be well.

It could be worse -- I could have to stay up all night like ANM.....sorry ANM

I saw the guy in the car behind me texting while driving. I got so mad at him. I kept looking at him and being mad, and almost rear-ended the car in front of me!! See!...........passive texting is dangerous too!

Pug.........you have every right to be p.o.'d/disappointed with those people. Can you short-sheet their bed?

Cathy, I think you were a victim of second-hand texting.

I am definitely NOT putting the cushy flannel sheets on. And the Manchego cheese? Mine, all mine.
