I just do not understand this. After Christmas all the Christmas stuff goes on clearance. This is my 3rd Christmas at Target and the first time I've ever seen this. We were salvaging out what was left of the stuff and there were 40 rolls of wrapping paper and it was just about shredded. Apparently people were breaking open 3 and 4 roll packs and picking out the ones that they wanted! Nothing had a scan bar on it. The woman I was working with has been there 20 years and she said she's never seen that before either. It's just paper, people! It is not going to improve your life one little bit to get that one particular roll of paper in a 4 pack!

Are you saying that they stole single rolls of wrapping paper?

It's so awful to wait and wait to go out here, until it's finally driveable, not snowing, not 4 below, and then have the car break down. We got out yesterday for first time in about a week and were out 2 hours when heavy snow started up again, so driving home quite the adventure.

I would love a snowless winter, or a horsedrawn winter. Either of those sounds great right now.
Thanks rodeosweetheart! And you have my sympathies too! I hate having to depend on a car. At least I had DH's car last night to finally get out and get some groceries and dog food......But on the way the wind was blowing the snow so hard at times I couldn't even see. I was so afraid I would wreck his car, then no one could get out! Fortunately, I got home safe and sound. I am getting cabin fever early this year though. And I'm tired of having to leave water running in the faucets, since it's -15 at night. I have 3 heat lamps going in the chicken coop.

Yeah, cabin fever--I have it, too. You have had it much worse there than here--much, much colder. I have gotten positively phobic about driving in this junk--the roads are SO slippery, and they don't seem to salt up here. I do think that attitude is definitely don't go out unless you have to, and then when there's a little break, absolutely everybody is out at Meijer, and it looks like Christmas Eve! We have learned to stock up, but gee, I do not do well with this shut in stuff. Yet just saw footage of that terrible accident in Kalamazoo--so it is wise not be out on the roads when visibility is so poor and the roads so slick.

No they didn't steal them. But those rolls were meant to be sold as a pack of 3 or 4. And who thinks it is ok to open a package and buy only the part of the set that want? It's None of those rolls had bar codes on them individually. The manager finally said to charge $.30 per roll. It messed up our inventory counts big time.

Went to an office-supply store to buy refills for my nice ballpoint pen. Took the pen out to show a staff member which model I needed, bought refills. When we got home, my pen was not in my purse... probably on counter in store where I recall setting it while I waited. Totally my fault. Now have four refills but No Pen.

It annoys me when people believe everything because the ad has science-y words like "ionized" or "oxygenated".

My peeve for the day is those little labels stuck on each piece of fruit. The worst are the ones that won't come off in one piece and you have to scrape them off. Aaarrrggghhh!!!

My peeve for the day is this: I cannot get open some commercial products. For instance, the soap in a plastic pump-top bottle. How do I open this??!!!!!! I have to call on DH to get it open.

I get so frustrated with myself for letting food spoil. Even though I work a more-than-full-time job and come home too weary to cook up the veggies sometimes, I still hate the waste. The only thing that takes the edge off is that I compost most of the bad items, so they're dinner for the worms and will eventually end up being fertilizer for my garden. But still . . . grrrr . . .
