    Saw on the side of the road today... a very WET mama turkey and her 3 babies toddling behind. Nice to see on a rainy, gloomy day. Sure picked up my spirits!

    Got a nice handwritten card on beautiful notepaper from a friend. It was for me hosting her for a brief overnight trip to escape the summer heat about a month ago. It was very thoughtful, even more so in this day of abbreviated text messages, so it was very much appreciated.

    I had my first ever mammogram at the age of 46 yesterday. Just got results. The girls are normal. Yay!
