Work on Me in 2016, the year of Me.

Sounds really selfish, but after the last couple of everyone else's issues becoming mine. I want to do things to make me happy, try new hobbies, improve outlook on life, try new things, meet new people or not meet any, wear different style clothing, dig deeper into spiritual faith, eat different foods......

This will be the hardest resolution I have ever done, but worth it I believe. I may start early even!

I usually don't bother making resolutions but it seems this coming year may bring a new job for me. So at a new workplace, I will not reveal so much about myself (a bit of mystery is a good thing), not complain or gossip as much. Basically just keep my thoughts to myself and think before opening my big mouth.

Oh, and when I'm able to lift my right arm over my head, finally shave my armpits! I start PT next week and I tried the exercise of walking my fingers up a wall. I'm so discouraged that I can only go chest high with a very crooked arm. But I must believe that every day will bring improvement and to not be a big sissy baby when the exercises start to hurt.

don't do resolutions, sometimes I do regularly ask myself "what have I done to grow today".

Why, I've eaten a container of ice cream and my stomach is coming along nicely .... kidding, kidding . Of course it's actually a serious question. Sometimes the answer is just too busy surviving, too lazy, having too much fun, but ...

I usually do, but not this year. I've got a mile-long to do list.

Well, I guess getting through that list is sort of a resolution. I'm procastinating on a lot of it, hoping things will go away. Sometimes it works.

I had a very challenging year. Last year well before New Years I resolved to lose 40 pounds. Just by eliminating sugar from my diet as much as possible and walking as often as I could, I did.

I also sold a house, downsized and paid off a truck. Two more resolutions down.

I mended my shattered relationship with my daughter. I helped my son out of a few tight spots.

Next year I want to be more patient, smile more often, maybe get rid of a few more things I really don't need. That will be enough for me. If I can just give more than I take.......next year will be a great success.

Ask me in a year...I am retiring in January so I look forward to slowing down, relaxing and no goal-setting or resolutions - at least for a little while while I let my working brain clear out.

wow, I'd say you had a fantastic year all the way around. Very inspiring.

I'm not aiming that high for 2016, just easing into pre-retirement. About 18 mos to go and I know they'll go fast, so I want to organize things at work so it will go smoothly. And lose a few lbs too - I thought menopause was done adding on the pounds and then another 5 snuck on last year, so it's time to get serious.

I would like to become more fearless at playing pickleball. I didn't start until I was 59 and am competent, but sort of slow. I watch other players and they have a kind of "go for it" attitude and will die trying for the ball. I think I am too hesitant. Now I will probably never hurt myself playing like this, but I want a bit more "for the hell of it" in my game. So that is what I am going to do.
