Just heard of another huge development in what used to be a small, rural neighboring town. They built this huge sports complex, then people had to have shopping, hotels, restaurants close, so they're building those. Now they're trying to get permission to build a huge food/gaming development.......whatever the hell that is. The guy on the news promoting it was saying crap like "everyone wants new foods and this is a place to start". Who's everyone??? Absolutely NOT ME!! The developers are just like politicians........lie, lie, lie.
Bet the neighborhood is gentrifying.
Article in the small community where I live, population around 7,000, saying they cannot understand why people of the community are not on board with spending $150 million on schools.... saying they are now putting through to get $39 Million which is not enough!!!!! Who is going to pay for this???? Totally nuts. Talking about NEEDING an olympic sized swimming pool and convention center. WTH!
What is with my ancestors NOT listing their mother's name on documents? You get to be 90 years old and never tell anyone who your mother was? But the father's name is there and he was married multiple times and no one can figure out who your mother was because you have so many different birth dates listed - Sigh!

Not as epic as the cold with the cough that lingered for weeks back in September, but darn it, this is my vacation and I've had my flu shot and couldn't it be someone else's turn now..!
Went grocery shopping tonight and just before I was to check out I parked my cart out of the way and went half an aisle down to get something. I came back and my cart was gone!!!! There was a cart there with a few items. Geez.. they must have taken my cart. Yes, the gal comes back and wants to take her cart and says my cart is "that way." No, I said, you take me where my cart is.... It was about 5 aisles from where I left it. I was TICKED. She said "I didn't take your cart on purpose." I said, "but you left my cart far away and didn't plan on putting it where I could find it." What a moron!
Hopefully you learned your cart should remain in site, and I hope you hadn't left your purse in it. I don't think you need to call yourself that name though.
My motherinlaw is still peeved at me when I chastised her about leaving her purse in the cart out of her sight. It has a shoulder strap for just that purpose. Argggggg.
