My neighbor's house went up for sale, and sold in about two weeks for 4K over the asking price, which I found rather jaw-dropping. So I'm happy to see that the oft-predicted Seattle-area real estate slump isn't happening. Yet. I guess it's holding off until I put Chez Decay on the market...
Jane, where will you go after you sell?
I try not to think about that. It would be logical to return to the Portland area where I have friends and family, but I'm strongly bonded to this area, where I essentially have no one. I'll probably just put off the move until death does its part.Originally Posted by Tybee

i HATE problem solving with them since they do not ever solve the proble. No, $10 wasnt enough. One of these communications required that DH get into the car, drive to the nearest office, pay the bill, and return home. 40 minutes.
The sky is that glorious blue of fall...the leaves are starting to turn- a little late this year, but I'll take it!!!
Had a wonderful double rave today.
As I was waiting in line to buy a ticket to the encore of the Metopera HD transmission of Aida, a woman in front asked it I wanted a ticket. She had bought a series of tickets to the HD productions for her mother who could not attend today. She would take no money but was glad that the ticket wasn't wasted.
The whole production of Aida was truly wonderful, the hour drive there was uneventful despite the construction and I came home to take a long walk with no rain after so many rainy days.
Had enough time afterwards to vacuum the house, make some homemade mustard and did a load of laundry as well. Very productive day!
