No disagreement there, Bae. Actually, anymore I think most larger towns and cities give access to more eco friendly meats, at a price. And rural people can often run across some one who knows someone who can sell a quarter of a beef or other local meats. It's just not the way it happens a lot of the time.
I don't know how things are other places, but there's sort of a minor food revolution around my area with more fake meats and dairy products in the stores and more people buying them or talking about buying them. I think someday there could be an expose of some of those things. The coconut and palm oils that are used in a lot of the fake dairy products, the high amount of salt that is in some of the fake meats, and the transportation effects of bring produce from half way around the world. It's no long a quinoa, kale and black bean vegan world, but a lot more processed foods.
It pays to know a little of the supply chain of what a person eats, no matter what it is.
