Just read the whistle-blower complaint. The writer is purported to be a CIA analyst. I hope that's all we find out about him or her. If half of what is written is true, it's time for a new President.

Unfortunately, shortly after the president threatened the whistleblower with assassination the ny times provided enough details about them that the whistleblower will likely be identified shortly.
Especially now that Dear Leader is making veiled threats about assassinating the "leakers."

You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart with spies and treason, right? We used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”
Another implied directive to his cultists, undoubtedly.

If life imitates the Sopranos there will be no perp walk in the last episode. It was more of a business as usual life goes on sometimes the bad guys win thing.
