Broiled (crispy) chicken wings (with Lowrey's seasoned salt) and an appetizer is our New Year's eve snack every year. .... tradition

I looked at the Safeway here yesterday. Plenty of thighs with/without skin/bones/attached legs.

I was at Aldi yesterday and was looking for them in the frozen section - I couldn't find any.

I heard once that Latinos in general like dark chicken meat and non-Latinos like chicken breast meat and sometimes the balance gets out of wrack? Cultural differences. Not sure how true this is.

Well that does seem like an odd truth in general terms but it's at least a partial truth with us. We prefer wings and breasts to the extent that I can't recall the last time a leg or thigh graced our table.

We always used to stick with chicken breasts, but now we often go with thighs instead because they have so much more flavor.

We use thighs nearly all the time. No trouble finding them here. Chicken tenders were $4.99 a pound, thighs $1.

All this talk of chicken thighs, I bought a pack yesterday. Will probably freeze half for later and use the other half this weekend.

It worked that way for us, but he eventually won me over to the dark side . Marion's Kitchen on YouTube features Thai cooking, and she uses a lot of thighs.
