Gorgeous girl!
Cute photo! We do love our dogs.
What is the story of being called "Baggy Pants"? That is not the first name that springs to mind when naming a dog. How did she come into your life as I get the impression that she was trained by others and came into your life later on?
As Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”
Thanks for asking! She was named by her second owner who got her as a puppy for showing. Baggy Pants had lots of wrinkles around her feet when she was a puppy, so that’s how she got her name.
That owner gave her to me when she was about five years old because she needed to make room in her kennel for other dogs. Baggy did not do especially well in the show ring and never earned a championship, one reason being that she was “doggy “in her physique which means she was big like a male dog. Her owner didn’t take her out often to shows 0B442B85-6A6A-44AE-9DE8-16C71103A144.jpgbecause she was mad at Baggy’s breeder, a feud that had nothing to do with Baggy Pants.
Another photo from that fun match ( not an official American kennel club show)
