Okay--you wanna see some I-wah people? Take a look at this youtube video--it's only a minute or twolong, you'll see what I mean. google "XXXIX Team off route interview". Two points: A year after this video, Jeremy(in the vid) died tragically in a AG-related accident. He suffocated cleaning out the tank in a pig manure spreader. Yup. Very unfortunate. Also, note the name on the Bus/the club name. Western I-wans have very earthy senses' of humor. Nothing they like better than a scat joke or blue double-entendre. Yup.

Okay---too bad they didn't have an episode of "60 Minutes of Causing Panic", dealing with how, several years ago, there was a local "investor"here who got shot in a domestic incident, and then ended up in bankruptcy court on account of the money he owed to something like a dozen lenders(Banks, S &L's) for upwards of 500 older homes he collected & neglected as rental properties! Ha. Many of them were so shabby, they were no longer producing income, and he owed the city a heap o' money, for going in and mowing, yard cleanup, etc.,on the vacant houses. So yeah--he was in on the house-buying mania, and way over his head. Idiot. So, what I'm gonna do is, go around to all these banks, etc., establish a line o' credit, and then buy up all the stigmatized properties, around town. See? Then, just milk them, make the loan payments, do no maintenance, and wait until my house o' cards collapses. Sounds like a plan. Yup.

Okay--here's something else you kids should know. I'm not going to write a big, long essay about it; just enough to convey a couple VERY innersting(interesting) facts. Okay--I know how some of you ALWAYS watch that Tee-Vee show called; "60 Minutes of Causing Panic". That way, you'll be Tee-Vee Educated. Well, see--up in that littlebitty city out in the middle o' nowhere, another habit them norwegians have is issuing cautionary tales, coupled with an old homily. See? What's that got to do with that show I mentioned? Welll, one of the founders and longtime reporters' on that show lived there in his childhood; his parents were school teachers, and after a long career of reporting stuff, he is interred there! He fell down a flight of stairs, fatally injuring himself at his home in Connecticut. That's where Newtown is, where little Adam shot all those innocent little kids at the grade school! Bruce Jenner went to High School there! Soo, a takeaway is---don't ever move to Conn., even if you can get a bargain on a stigmatized fixer-upper! No matter how cheap it is! Anyway, here's photo of the old Reasoner place, in I-wah. It's about 100 years old, by now. But, VERY well-maintained. No doubt excessively so. They're all Quasi--Dutch Norwegians, y'know. Gotta keep everything tidy. Get out the scoop shovel and bundle up, when the first flake falls. Ha. Yup. But, AFAIK, it's not stigmatized, unless you count that it's the former home of a notable person.

Unfortunately, it is easy to make someone disappear, it is harder to keep the secret. The one that I used to play around, drained the bodies over the tub and put them out for the trash, displaying the skulls of his victims (and I believe their pocket knives, which is what brought me to his booth), at his booth at a local antique store.
You have another clown, who buried the bodies in their house (his mom worked with my late bosses mom).
Another "alleged" one, was never tried as his only escapee, said he tossed the bodies in the Missouri river. When he got out from bad check charges, that escapee disappeared and was never seen again. (and he was arrested again and died in prison from bad check charges)
I could go on about a few more I am too close to.

You have had close brushes with an awful lot of bad stuff in your time, and I'm glad you've survived it! I used to read a lot of true crime, but apparently I don't have the stomach for it anymore. I agree, rosa. Both sad and scary.

Quote of the day: "Lee, what in the sam hill is going on, here---did you shoot the President? "---Robert L. Oswald Well, I don't want you kids getting upset over anything---especially gory stories. That's why I've presented them here initially, by leaving out the details & specifics that led to the properties being stigmatized. I've got some more lovely stigmatized properties to show you, after awhile. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

You need someone like a Del Dunmire (if I remember his name correctly). He bought up all of Bobby's stuff, and had it destroyed so people like you wouldn't either stigmatize, or make it a shrine.

However not everything can be bought up. Rivers, landfills, and places connected with former mob connected presidents, tend to be hard to.

Ok--here's one, on the south Side, near the Main Lirrrarrrary--which hadn't been built, yet. Very stigmatized. I just know it's been on Tee-Vee.Thankk Mee. 2022-03-23 (1).jpg2022-03-23 (1).jpg

okay--another one. Center south side. The photo on the RE listing is blurred-out. on google maps--blurred, as well. Look at the cloud formation above the home. No doubt stigmatized. I knew the family, slightly.2022-03-23 (3).jpg2022-03-23 (3).jpg1950's sprawling ranch.
