YVW, HapSF! I would check the price point on a nice new Electric Hilltopper DeSoto Bike, but I get skeered when I even THINK about spending any money! Yup. Cat Food is super-expensive, these days, and I find bare shelves when I try to purchase canned cat food. It may just be cheaper to feed them canned tuna, instead. Yup. So, for now, I'll be sticking with my Schwinn-Packard Bike that I bought new, back in 1986. Trouble is---it is totally self-powered, and only has two wheels! Yup. But, it has a VERY comfterbal seat--a dealer-take-off(DTO) from a nice, new wimmins' LIV bike,by Giant. Here's a photo of it, after I put on a used fork off a 80's TREK, then spray-bombed it to touch 'er up. I had to look and look and look for that particular fork; paid a fortune for it, and STILL had to cut the rack mounting bosses off the old fork & weld them onto the replacement(used) Trek fork. Really--it is a Tange-brand fork, and the Trek Tange fork is actually lighter than the Schwinn Tange fork.. But, that's okay. It functions fine. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.102_1676.jpg

102_1401.jpgOkay---For your Viewing pleasure---the motor in my 1977 GMC Professional Grade Truck. I just overhauled it in 1981, so you know it runs good! Yup. Notice the 283 head, with no bolt boss for the PS bracket. Oh,well. No prollem. ThankkMee.Attachment 4372The heads were off a 67 Chevy engine, in a car that a young boy rolled. He sold the engine to another boy, who used it in a 64 Chevy. The heads had had a valve grind, but it still used a LOT of oil. Anyway, the boy traded the heads to mee, and I used them on my refurbished 350 c.i. pickup engine. The "boy" I obtained them fromis a F-book friend, almost aged 60. Yup. I axed him the other day---got any more o' them heads to sell? BTW,I also have the item I traded him, back & on another vehicle. It was an intake manifold that I bought new in 1972. It changed hands at least twice, before I got it back, again.

R/R---I fixed it, so it shows, now. That there's a damn good motor, buddy! Yup. Okay---apparently, sum o' you kids haven't resolved the current issue with Poo-tin and ol' U-kraine. You have a NEED to sympathize with somebody--anybody. Except littlebittymee, of course. Ha. Gotcha. Anyhow, the way I see itis pretty cut and dried, if you think about it logically. I've pointed this out, before, but I'll recap & review. Okay--Russia & the Geographical location known as Ukraine are like summa these young couples you see, nowadays. Break up, and make up, with squabbles & ex partes and Dom. Ass. charges, in between. Pretty much on a regular basis for at least a 1000 years, they've had go-arounds. At least one time, the boundaries of the Ukraine Empire made it a HUGE nation! But,seen in the context of some libbie in Portland, who couldn'tve located Ukraine on a map until last month, it's all something new. Yup. Okay---Poo-tins' justification. It's like: A young druggie is out partying, and drives through a traffic signal. He gets pulled over, but has felony warrants outstanding, and so do his compadres in the car. So, lone cop approaches the car, hand on his gun. But, the brave young kid, high on whatever, takes a chance and shoves the cop! Well, Mr cop shoots the kid, dead. Next thing you know, Libs are in the street, chanting that "Running a Stop sign is NOT a Capital Crime!!!" They have gaps in their line of reasoning, for sure. They habitually feel sorry for the perceived underdog, every time. See? Well, Ukraine has been aligning itself with western Europe for a number of years. They've even gone so far as to bribe one of the US's VERY prominent "leaders", evidently. No doubt in my mind Poo-tin, who leads a nation that also---historically--has had to deal with security threats from other empires in Europe, throughout the last 1000+ years, has tried negotiating with Ukraines' wayward leader. Yup. So, what has happened is, in order to rein in his cheatin' neighbor, he's had to apply some military force, so they'll get the message. See? Now, if I was a patridiotic American neocon with a degree from Dish Network Schoolof Strategic Studies,of course I'd advocate American military intervention--against either side, it wouldn't matter. Just do it. . We Rule The World, Don't We? But, really, seriously---since those Russians were our "Allies" backin WW2(that we and those English caused), we should simply lend the Russians some B-52's and and an ample supply o' surplus Bunker Busters. That'd get it over, end the conflict, restore the detente' and We The People could go back to our regularly-scheduled programming of scandals & stuff. . See--(I'm not done yet)Poo-tins' Troops are prolly using obsolete, surplus weaponry, left over from their last futile effort to conquer a 9th century backwater, Afghanistan, which resulted in 10 years wasted. Yup. I bet they've pulled some cheap, moldy old North-Korean-made SCUD missiles out of deep storage, to use, and at least half of them are duds. Prolly, more'n one has gone through the window of a Ukraine schoolhouse, and barely managed to knock the eraser off the chalkboard. Yup. So,yeah---it's pathetic, and embarassing. That's why the logical thing would be to make a lend-lease deal of some of our stockpile of nearly-obsolete weaponry to our Ally, Russia. We can always get more, from the military-industrial complex. Yup. Then, Poo-tin can win, save face, and of course--Ukraine will get over it, at least for awhile. Till the next periodic tussle. See? Pretty simple, if you think about it. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

Okay---now I see that the tEE-vEE educated Mental Health Experts on here have diagnosed Poo-tin as a sociopath, or whatever. Well, duh. Read any Psch 101 text, and it will tell you that many sociopathic people, narcissists or whatever, are not in jail or mental institutions or just plain dysfunctional. Not at all. . A good many of them are heads of organizations & governments. Good Call though, kids. Ha.

"An Honest public servant can't become rich"----Harry S Truman. Yup. Takes a demmmacrat to know one. Okay---Food &Prestige---A high school classmate, who I did not personallyknow at the time, but knew of, has traveled to Bah-Stunn to see her daughter participate in the Bah-stun Marathon! They are dining on yummy lobster rolls, in a restaurant, too! Yup. Sounds like fun. Meanwhile, I'm getting ready to feed the cats, feed the huskees, do a little more work on my trailer floor, and perhaps burn some brush. Yup. How do you like that?

Okay---here's another good motor,in the back o' my 77 GMC perfessional-grade Truck. I went to the self-service wreckin' yard on a 50%-off day, and pulled 'er out of a 95 Chevy 4x4 that had been wrecked HARD. Okay---this was several years ago, but even so, a 95 woulda been over 20 years old. But see--it showed just 96k miles on a 7-digit odometer AND someone evidently had purchased the seat out of this drastically wrecked vehicle, meaning it probably was in good shape. Maybe it is stigmatized, but in good shape. Anyway, as soon as I got er in the driveway,I conducted a compression test on it and of course--oiled up the cylinders. Checked out fine. But guess what? I still havent used this motor, but I prolly will. Yup. See---95 was the last year for the TBI 350, which some people regard as unworthy. But, not littlebittymee. Hope that helps you some. Okay---just went on EBay, where I buy everything except cat food, dogg food, and wood pellets. Anyway---they had two listings for old,1986 Packard Bikes, same model as mine. Only--these hadn't been tampered with, like mine. They still have the original, crap Huret derailleur and doo-doo Weinmann weels and oem seats. Downtube shifters, too. Ha. Only 6 speed, too. Then, here's a used frameset, too. Maybe I'll just get an E-Bike, like the Cool People, who jump on every consumeristic bandwagon. Ha. 2022-04-17 (7).jpg2022-04-17 (7).jpg2022-04-17 (6).jpg2022-04-17 (8).jpg
