Okay---I forgot to mention that I'm really grateful for several other things---including, but not limited to---Vinegar, & the day after Easter! Yup. Vinegar is the universal solvent/cleaner, and a valuable health aid. Also, the Day(s) after Easter is when the stores are clearance-pricing easter candy. Yup. Thing is---none of them are even carrying black jelly beans! Not around here! I AM displeased about that. Hope that helps you kids some. Thankk Mee.

Okay--The Virtue Mowing started, went on for several hours, but now it's stopped. Hopefully, the Mowing God has been pleased. At least, for the day. Ha. For that I'm VERY grateful. Yup. ETA: FYI, I, of all people, am NOT the Virtue Mower. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

Okay---This is a VERY important subject. I just got a notification that Dr Ed Epperly will be making a presentation & a book-signing at the lirrrarray in Red Oak,I-wah on the 27th of this month. Red oak is a 700-mile round trip from where I sit,but Dr Epperly is THE experton the Villisca Axe Murders, and he is 87. So, I may make the trip, meet the expert--who by the way--had the axe at his home for decades, until he donated it to the County Historical Society---and pick up a copy o' the book. Or, maybe I should order one, asap, and take it with mee. Maybe some of you kids can attend, too. Ha. But I doubt it---it's too S-c-a-r-e-e-e! Boo! Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

I got lucky and was able to get a bag of regular and a bag of all black jelly beans after Easter. Someone has already eaten them all.

Okay---THAT is awesome & a-may-zeen, HS! Black Jelly Beans are yummy, but should only be consumed one at a time. Yup. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

Okay--I know you kids are sitting there, anxiously awaiting an update on the situation with my various projects--specifically my 2 pallets of used, gummmint-surplus obsolete fluorescent lights. Well, the weather cleared up temporarily. But, today it is too windy to work on my burn piles, and tomorrow rain (again) is in the forecast! But yesterday was fair, and in mid-afternoon, I pulled the trailer over to the place where the lights were, to pick them up. Okay--I had used the trailer winch battery in the 77 GMC, because I used the (newer) GMC battery in the cars I needed to mow around. See? I suspected the winch battery might be getting a little tired,l ast time I used the winch, and guess what? I left the lights on for just 20 minutes by mistake, and when I went to start it after we loaded the lights---it would not crank. This in no way due to the fact that it is a 45 year old pickup. It is perfessional grade(tEE-vEE said so), and besides---I just refurbished the engine with used parts from the wreckin' yard & new parts from JC Whitney in 1981. So, it is a damn good motor, buddy. I thought(briefly) about putting a turbocharger on it, to keep ahead o' the young whippersnappers getting in their miles on the super slab, but I quickly decided against it. Let 'em pass me, in a hurry on their way to nowhere in particular, for something to "do". Ha. So--yeah it is the battery. But, it still works---just doesn't last when you leave the lights on for 20 minutes! Ha. The guy at the gubbmint shed used a nice, new HD gubbmint truck to give the battery a boost, and I was on my way home. When I got back to the ranch, I found that the rear pallet load was leaning badly, due to a defective wood pallet. Lucky all the lights didn't fall off in the street! Ha. The two lights on the bottom had the diffusers broken, and one or two bulbs. You kids can call me "FeDex" from now on. Ha. So, now, I'm unloading & inspecting, and storing the lights on the nice surplus salvaged plastic pallets I purchased from those people who are lowering property values over by the park. Yup. And yeah---the good news is that the light ballasts are 120v. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

While not consumed one at a time, the bag did last about two days. LOL
