Uh, huh. And lower property values. Good job. But yeah---I passed up the opportunity of a lifetime, by not buying that unrestored Hudson-branded Metropolitan at the swap meet, years ago. Then, I screwed up royally(as they say in I-wah) by not buying the Hudson Jet that was for-sale, dirt cheap. It even RAN, so yo could move it around the yard. Hope that helps you kids some.

Okay---I found yet another photo of the zact crash site, where there are U.S. flags galore. How do you like that? Very patriotic, I guess. 2022-08-18 (2).jpg

Okay---after the merger in '54(with Nash), the new company called itself "American Motors". Kind of a forewarning of things yet to come. But yeah---for '55, Hudsons shared bodies with Nashes, through 57, which was the last year for both brands. From then onb, they were Ramblers. Yup. Some collectors call the hybrid Hudsons "Hashes". Ha. You could still get a Hudson-built engine in a Hash for awhile, and even a Packard V8! But AMC came up with it's own proprietary V8 for '57. Now you know. Hope that helps you some. But no, there weren't no Hashes this year that I saw, at the annual swap meet. See, I didn't stay too long; I bought some aluminum window sashes pretty cheap. They are missing the screens, however; a BIG deficiency when you live in Zurra. But the price was right, and I'll figure something out. Plus, I ran out'a money, on account of my deal with the guy out in Co. who was parting out a Studebaker V8 that had some good pieces I really needed for my project. Yup.

Okay----there's a kitten lurking here, and so far I haven't been able to catch him. But yeah--he lives in my yard, in and around things. He eats food I set out for him. This has been going on for a month. I've gotta catch him, before the fleas get to him. He's thin, but pretty lively. I guess he's my Ukrainian cat. Ha.Wish mee luckk.

THYVM, RR & JV. This morning, I peeked through the blinds, and he was sitting on the porch, waiting for breakfast. But, yeah--he ran when I set some cat food out. Then, returned when I went inside. I let the old girls outside, and the kitten followed them around, but they weren't too interested. They did finish off the food the kitten left. He sat on the front porch, but eluded me in several tries. Finally, I put more food out, and he followed one of the old girls up to investigate. I decided he was approximately 98% ready to be captured, so I grabbed his tail, then by the scruff of his neck. I required first aid, due to being scratched while restraining him. That's what happens when you scare a catt, but it was necessary. So, he's in the spare bedroom, for now, with a food dish and out of harms way. How he made it for at least a month, I don't know. I just assume he's a hardy specimen. But yeah---it's good I got him caught. I believe he'll adjust, pretty soon. But, I gotta get some flea junk on him, asap.

I follow some feral rescues, and have learned that kittens in the wild often have ringworm, which you can see with a black light. And a bath is probably in order. Good luck!
