Oh let's get real. How much property damage did the union protesters (Democrat) do to the Wisconsin State Capital earlier this year? Was it $7 or $8 Million?

I don't think it's conservatives who gather at every meeting of the G20 and destroy everything in sight. It's not conservatives who joke about hate raping conservative women. It's not conservatives who disrupt conservative speakers and conservative events.

There's actually hundreds of links I could provide as examples, but I think most people can get the gist from those few.

Funny how we can have over 300 million people in this country - and probably just as many different combinations of origins, races, religions, opinions, philosophies, politics. But apparently we can all be slotted into 1 of only 2 groups. Amazing.

Now WHAT happened? What exactly happened? Jimmy Hoffa said 'vote 'em out'? Is that the HUGE THREAT y'all are talking about? Really? Wow! I think a reality check is in order when some guy says let's vote them out and everyone gets spun up!
Oh, you didn't watch the whole speech? Yea, watch the whole thing. Or even the whole sentence. It's pretty pathetic when you have to manufacture grievances.

I find it amazing that anyone would blame the unions for anything. I think they have become the boogyman for the when it come to reasons for lack of jobs or maybe they are jealous of the benefits and retirement?

    Trade union membership
    US 2010
    16.1 million

    Percentage of workforce
    ▪ Total: 12.4%
    Public sector: 36.8%
    ▪ Private sector: 7.6%

And this number of people is responsible for the "jobs crisis" in America? I suspect that most workers would die for the opportunity to get the benefits that most union workers get. Instead they are so intimidated just to keep their jobs that most would not dare to mention, much less organize, their fellow workers.

Especially in the South, most union workers are perceived with jealousy and contempt as a workforce that is all about higher wages and benefits than most if not all private workers.

Huh? What? For real? That is not something that everyone wants? If not, why not?

I think that most workers these day are so darn intimidated that they dare not ask for their far share because they don't really feel that they are doing anything that contributes enough to demand anything - think about that!!

    Peace

That's done all the time, and pretty much depends upon whatever group an individual identifies with. There's lots of talk on this forum about simple livers and everyone else. Same thing.
Some folks like to consider all southerners or Tea Party members as ignorant racists, well, excepting of course whichever southerners or tea party members they may interact with. Same thing.
When I was new here, back in the day, a lot of the female members seemed to believe that all men were misogynistic low lifes, excepting again the male members of the site and certain significant others. Same thing.
Just about the whole of society breaks down as the enlightened and the un-enlightened with members of each group self-identifying in a favorable light. Same thing.

Don't take any of it personally, it's just human nature.

He actually said "President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let's take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong". But let's not quibble over exact wording, it's the thought that counts.

You could not have missed this. Actual gun crosshairs aimed at Giffords.

"Gabrielle Giffords, The Arizona congresswoman shot today outside a Tucson Safeway, was featured on Sarah Palin's infamous 'crosshairs' map, which targeted legislators who voted for Obama's health care bill. Remember? The map that was criticized as an incitement to violence?"

I listen to Tea Party candidates on the news shows and read their speeches. I fear for the old, Muslims (in fact any non-Christians), Women's access to birth control and abortions, and the future of the middle class. CEO's and top executives get richer and richer and the working class gets downsized, rightsized, cut back, subject to pay cuts and decrease in benefits.

I am not a Democrat or Republican, both parties make me ill with their rhetoric, lies and empty promises, but I am far more fearful of those in the Tea Party than the rest of the candidates- I have a Tea Party congresswoman and she scares me to death with her views.

    Here's something to 'squeal' about......

"A late August newsletter from the Pima County Republican Party plugged an upcoming raffle with a questionable prize: a Glock handgun, not unlike the one Jared Loughner used to kill six people and wound thirteen others, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, in January"

The desperation of the left is really kind of laughable. In truth, the only violent language has been coming from the left when talking about the Tea Party, yet the Tea Party is supposed to be fearsome? Come on! The left had the kook who said all Tea Partiers wanted to see blacks hanging from a tree. Joe Biden called Teapartiers terrorists, then Hoffa says (I watched the speech, heard him live) this is war, we are going to take the sons of bitches out. Its a great fabrication on the part of the left to sway public opinion and deflect from the failure of Obama. Not gonna work, not gonna work...If you fear those who are ideologically different than you, you are prejudiced...If you fear those who have different religious beliefs, you are prejudiced.

Also like the one that Gabby Giffords herself owns...
