OIh, yes--you can do most vaccines at home. There are exceptions, such as prescription drugs and then for a rabies tag to be issued, it must be done by a licensed vet. But, you can still do rabies yourself, if you can find them for sale.. See--in Zurra, there are farm supply stores and pet supply stores that sell your 3- and 5-way vaccines for catts and doggs, and of copurse antibiotics. That's where I got these, for $8 each. They are injected just under the skin(subcutaneous), where Rabies and some others are into the muscle tissue.

There are also online pet supply houses that cater to the kennels, for deeper discounts on vials with multiple doses. I have bought them from the vet, at times. And boxes of hypodermic needles, etc. But, I just go over to the farm/pet supply houses near me. Now I did take a catt---a beloved brown tabby girl in, to have a cortisone shot at a vet, for flea allergy, last week. Which is strange, because she has close to 0 fleas on her. But yeah---she is feeling much better, and the symptoms have about gone away. But, that cost $60. That kind oif money would've bought a yumnmy steak dinner at one of the better rest-o-rants in town OR a tickkick to sit-n-watch Lyle Lovett and his buddy whats-his name try and make music. Ha. Not worth it. My cat is a much better investment. Yup. Instead, I had a plate o' fried onion rings heated up in the rehabbed microwave, with ranch dressing. One whole bag is $3.29 and is good for three servings. Yup. Catts like 'em, too.

Okay----it got down in the 30's at night, and my policy is not too do any heating until after Nov. 1. Heat costs money, and I already spend waaaay too much money on catt & doggg food, as it is. But yeah----last evening, the cattts formed up a coalition to bunk together, to share body heat, so they wouldn't freeze their tails off. 2022-10-20 (3).jpg

I feel like I didn’t entirely get my moneys worth for my C$tt because he will not cuddle with me. I am toying the idea of keeping this house freezing so that he will figure out I am a source of warmth and he will come and sit by me and on me.

Good strategy, Faux. Also, you might try eating canned tuna fish in bed. That will generate catt interest, too.

Stinky mackeral might be even better. I once caught an elusive semi-feral with mackeral when tuna wasn’t working.

Okay---yeah, whatever. My catts live here, I live here. I don't care if they ignore me, and they don't care if I ignore them. Way it is. But yeah---our paths cross, and yeah, there is some interaction. I only do enough to meet their needs. All there is to it. Hope that helps you some. Thankk Mee.

Okay---my pet peeve---one of many--is people who are obviously "Tee-Vee educated". That is a term I coined many years ago, that refers to people who derive most of their knowledge from from Tee-Vee and other MSM, with little actual first-hand experience. Especially, the ones who" jump on the bandwagon" which is an idiom I did not invent, but works well to describe the self-righteous, manic attitudes some of those people develop, especially about alleged social/environmental/political problems that need solved NOW, based on media accounts they've sat-n-watched. But no-- They don't HAVE the solutions, they only know the PROBLEM, and believe it's their duty to share their Tee-vee-acquired knowledge on the subject. And of course--bash anyone who dares to question their beliefs. See? Those People make the very best ideologues, too. Anyway, that's all for now. Hope that helps you some, or I'll start addressing you in dudespeak, which is the dialect most TV-Ed people use. Thankk Mee.

Okay---Poky, center of the I-wah Universe, and boyhood home of I-wahs & Alaskas most notorious serial killer. Not counting guys who fish-n-hunt, of course. But yeah--here's a promotional photo and also one of the present store front where Hansens' Bakery was located in Poky, years ago. The chunky guy in the photo is the son of a wummun I "dated" for a very short time. We went to a mooo-vvveee down the street at the Rialto, called: "The Dukes Of Flatbush". Not that I wanted to see it, it was what was playing at the time, okay? Hope that helps you some. 2022-10-23.jpg2022-10-23 (2).jpg2022-10-23 (2).jpg

Okay----Quick Quuiz: What is the purpose of New Hampshire? A: Well, tourism, or to be more specific, geezercycle touring, where geezers can try and cheat death on their flashy, loud geezer "bikes". Tourism(from noo joisy, noo yawk, and the greater Bawh-stun area) of this sort is SO important to NH, that if a drunken motorcyclist who is not watching where he is going crosses the centerline on a curving hilly road into the path of a pickup driving by a young kid, an immigrant from you kidses' favorite county(ukrainia), then the State of NH and the regional Nooz Media will place the blame squarely on the kid, for killing 7 murdercyclists in cold blood. Yup. He will be sitting in jail, without bail, for 3 years, and then sitting in an immigration jail, awaiting deportation proceedings after he is cleared of all charges in the crash. Let injustice be served, right? Hope that helps you kids some.2022-10-20 (9).jpg

Well the purpose of NH has traditionally been to sell cheap cigarettes, alcohol, fireworks and tattoos to us Massholes, but now tattoos are legal here, I don't smoke anymore, and the liquor isn't really cheaper than some of our local stores, so I have a lot less use for NH than I used to. I guess some folks also go there for the sales tax-free shopping. I live in a red-leaning town in a very blue state, and it seems that many of our local townies dream of moving to NH, to whom I say "don't let the door hit you . . ."
