There is a very elderly friend of my motherinlaw who sends out a fantastic photo card or postcard every year with some crazy adventure picture. They are so much fun and so original. Lets us know that when we reach our 90s to try new and fun things. The diving cards would be great to get in the mail.
Thanks, everyone! I will be supplementing the cards with postcards this year!

I needed a new cotton blanket badly. I’ve had a nice one from Eddie Bauer that was a gift more than 20 years ago. It’s finally dead and the bottom is shredding from where it has been tucked in against the foot board of my bed. I went to The Company Store’s website. They have a deal for 25% off many items for Black Friday early. I have a full bed but I always use twin blankets as it’s just me and I don’t have to worry about too much excess hanging down the sides. It was $89, but I got it for $67.
We bought a vintage 4 poster bed for $50. It’s a full-size bed and those are probably hard to get rid of because everyone wants a queen size bed these days. Anyway, it’s cute and is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The best thing was it’s marked down from $150 and I didn’t discover it on Facebook Marketplace until it was at $50.
Continuing with free (except for the gas to get there) hobbies - hiking today and two City meetings planned for next week.
Negotiated a 10 cent per gallon discount on my home heating oil delivered today.
Needed some new washclothes, so cut them out of a towel that was at my mom's house; it was the towel I took to college 47 years ago. Used the best part for washclothes and burned the rest in the woodstove.
