I bought husband a wooden one for Christmas and son one for his family. I have one I want to start but unfortunately need the dining room table so it will have to wait until Christmas.

For some reason, making jigsaw puzzles puts me into a "flow" state in a way that few other activities do. I am also frequently in that state at the pottery studio.

I have noticed that too, Rosa. It is supposed to be very good for maintaining brain health as well.

My two holiday puzzles. These were both brand new, unopened puzzles that were headed to the dumpster at the school. 1000 pieces each.

Nice puzzles happystuff. The Friends image makes me miss Matthew Perry. He was the outstanding talent on that show.
He sure was. Such a sad loss.
1000 pieces is very challenging--my kids gave us a 500 pc for Christmas, which is our sweet spot for puzzles.
The wooden puzzle I bought for DH has very small pieces but we are starting it nontheless.
Good for you, Happy! I love making jigsaw puzzles, but it's a challenge to find a space to do so in our house, and it's pretty much going to be out of the question for the next couple of months.
True fact: I have never seen "Friends," and I had never heard of Matthew Perry until he died.
Rosa, I thought the Friends puzzle was a family photo made into a puzzle....My friend who is a superb puzzler, doing large puzzles with tiny pieces almost gave up on a puzzle of Van Gogh's sunflowers in a vase. Lots of yellow!! She kept at it, but nearly gave up.We do a few in the winter, mostly from the dollar store 350 or 500 pieces. They fit on the kitchen table.
