This probably also belongs in the "Raves" thread, but we were debating what to have for dinner last night, and a friend stopped over and gave us 3 large, live lobsters he had picked up from a local lobsterman's shop. Question answered, boiled lobster last night, and lobster salad tonight!
(He's a little bit nutty, but a very sweet friend of 50+ years. I do his taxes and other personal business type stuff, and we had given him Mom's car when she stopped driving).

Going to put bean soup (non-chili chili-like) in the cp. Have to go in to work, so it will be nice to come home to a hot meal.

That sounds good. I’m stuck home with a case of Covid like bad flu. I’ve had mostly chicken noodle soup, bagels and cream cheese, and I did egg noodles with green peas.

Have you tried Pacific brand soups? I was addicted to their roasted red pepper and tomatoe soup in a box, and tried some of their other soups.

    decent they are.

i won’t touch Campbell’s soups, or “salt slop” as I think of them.

I eat mainly Progresso soup. I can buy it by the case from Amazon a lot cheaper than than store. This is good stuff. I might have some Campbell’s Chunky Soups, but the only condensed soup I’ll get these days is tomato.

I love Progresso Italian Wedding Soup! It's a treat whenever I actually buy some. Hope you are feeling better, Tradd.

SO is out of town for work so I'm making a vegetarian chili. (he hates beans so I sometimes make stuff with beans for myself when he won't be home for dinner.)

DH made a Thai style shrimp-coconut soup. Citrus and avocado salad to offset the spicy soup.
