This reminds me of the news story about the man that drank 16+ glasses of black iced tea everyday and ended up with kidney failure from an overabundance of oxalates. All things in moderation as Grandma used to say.

Today was a grocery day and I was browsing the tea section for a couple of the recommendations but stopped at Numi Emperor Pu-erh. A bit pricey, but on sale. There will be some months of cold weather to try more. The temperature thing seems a little bit much for those of us who have stove top tea kettles. Something to consider or experiment with. I wonder if it's the same here at higher elevations where water boils at 203 degrees or so.

I've been buying tea for several years from this business based in the Portland area. They have some really yummy blends, puerh, rooibos, black, herbal, white, green. It's loose tea. I've adapted.

My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

Love my cup of cozy Sleepy tea before bed. I do believe it puts me into a mood to doze off. I vary different Sleepy teas. Then there's hot tea with honey and rum when I have a cold. And during the day, I often have a cup of green tea. One kitchen drawer is dedicated to different herbal and non-herbal tea.

Black tea for me, too. Twining’s Breakfast, their Earl Grey and Lady Grey. When we are in Cornwall, we buy tea from a tea plantation based at a Stately Home. Can’t remember the name offhand, but it’s very good. My Husband is a Yorkshire Tea fan.

I go for months drinking only coffee. Then more months drinking only tea. I'm pretty much settled on Blue lotus brand. It's a powder. Don't be put off by the price tag. It lasts forever and is so good.

Yes, good to see you around the forums again, Tiam.

It sounds strange, but sometimes I just forget how much I like tea. LOL. For a while I was trying to stick to two cups of coffee in the morning and then switch to tea if I still desired a hot cup of something. I do like unsweetened ice tea in the summer, but have to use the decaf tea, as I drink so much it can keep me up at night.

Happy stuff, that means a lot to me. One of the reasons why I stopped posting here, was sometimes I didn't feel very welcome, so this means a great deal. Thank you.
