Lamb kebabs on the barbecue, with a Greek salad with plenty of feta and Greek extra virgin olive oil.

We brought back lots of local honey, olives and extra virgin olive oil from our recent visit to our daughter and son in law in Corfu.

Sauteed cabbage with hot smoked turkey sausage and corn on the cob. Really hit the spot.

Beans. Canned Beans from the discount, railway-salvage and sunken-ship recovery, dented, outdated, and surplus stock supply store down the street. These are in a spicy sauce w/lime juice. Bought two cases. It's very good. Yup.

I am planning something similar, with turkey sausage hot sliced into a with a cold Asian salad mix. So two ingredients from the grocery for a fast supper.

Last night, salad with cubed grilled chicken, hard cooked eggs, feta, cooked potato cubes, avocado and homemade 'caesar-esque" dressing.

tonight, even though it was hot, Tamale pie, which was more beans and corn than meat.

BBQ'ed with next door neighbors yesterday. I love that we finally have nice neighbors (at least on one side)! Plenty of various meat proteins and I made a nice big green salad. Not sure what will be for today.

I cooked last night--two dishes--one for carnivores and one for vegetarians, so my son offered to get sub sandwiches from the local market. Easy.
