I hadn't noticed a lack of Jim Jordan in the news but your bringing him up in an unexpected location made me wonder if there might be a fan club or something similar for those of you interested in a daily dose of the coach. Google served up a Facebook page that might fill the void for you. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2350773077/

I appreciate the update. I'd not thought of him for a long time until you mentioned how rude the dems were in the RFK Jr. inquisition. That was sort of his modus operandi.
Admittedly off topic since we were discussing the poor integrity of RFK, Jr. A thing they also picked on is his support of Trump for the Nobel Prize for Operation Warp Speed, and then intimating that the vaccine was ineffective against upper respiratory infections. And he brought up how the vaccine has cause fatal heart problems. It too bad he doesn't have a good perspective or scientific knowledge to identify and focus on the real causes of chronic diseases.

Thank you Alan. It is very hard to be a caregiver and I felt exhausted and worn out. He fought very hard to walk and get around, and even drives now. But I do believe it has made me more compassionate to those who suffer.
you need 95% immunized for herd immunity. Florida is already down to 90. We have people from all over the world on planes, lots of cruises going in and out so I imagine the potential for outbreaks is quite large here.
per the current (Unwoke) cdc website, there were 285 cases of measles in 2024. In 2025 so far it is 1431. About 12% end up in hospital and three have died.
this has the potential to be really big because immunizations are certain to go down now.

interesting article from Floridas surgeon general. My favorite is when he talks about you have sovereignty over your own body. Hmmmm.
Hmmmm is right, such blatant hypocrisy. Besides, children never have had sovereignty over their bodies - I remember my mother making me wash my face and brush my teeth against my will (and ironically, I am now returning the favor).
I too, am sorry for your DH's health struggles, Flowers. It is hard enough with my mother, and it really must be next-level tough when it is your lifelong partner.
