I plan on decorating for Halloween this weekend so I got out my indoor decor to see what I had left after the big July purge. Started figuring out what was going where and two things didn't make the cut. A witch gnome and a small black and white pumpkin.

A local shop selling unused and secondhand craft supplies put out a call for yarn donations in view of the increasing costs of it due to tariffs. I haven't really priced yarn lately, but I know much of it comes from overseas. Reportedly knitters & crocheters are finding their hobby unaffordable.

So...I gathered up probably 10 full and partial skeins and two unfinished projects (they take those too) and donated. I never did become a very good knitter (sorry Grandma). Glad someone will get use of it. Found some space then to move things around a bit less crowded.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

I had a small pile of books and misc that I had culled in my front room. When DSis stopped by, she volunteered to take them and donate for me since she often visits the local thrift shops. Just another of many, many reasons to love my sister!
