My ACA premium will jump from $482 to $1100/mo. I'm 59 so a long wait for Medicare. Since I'm healthy and lead a healthy lifestyle I've joined a health-share type group called CrowdHealth. Instead of paying $13000/year with a $3000 deductible, my maximum will be just over $4000/year plus a $500 deductible for each medical event. Discounts are offered for proving your health through diagnostic tests and there's also a Carnivore diet subgroup.

Health shares have gotten a bad rap for good reason, but this seems to be well run and successful with 99% of submitted bills being covered. Along with an admin fee, you are asked to pay up to a certain amount towards someone's bill each month. Hopefully I won't need to use this but I will take advantage of the discounted DEXA scans they offer.
