    While I typically like more traditional designs, I do like this! It's so clean and simple, yet I don't find it that sterile because of the wood finishes and furnishings. But I wonder how much it cost! I'll bet its cost per square foot was astronomical. But I could definitely live in it, as long as there were window treatments for privacy at night.

    Article said he was able to keep the cost down to $350K because he essentially did a huge amount of interior work himself. He is an avid metal worker and made his kitchen countertops from steel. He made the kitchen table, too, I think.

    All I could see was the first picture, then the paywall closed over it, but I loved that big window view of the creek; it felt like I was out in nature. Loved it.
