11.23.63. The Stephen King story using time travel to prevent the assassination of JFK. Pretty good story, but the MCM furnishings, cloths, and cars are MCM eye candy. I think a lot of it was done with computer generated graphics, but it's not terribly obvious.

Ooh, looks like that one is on Netflix! Will have to watch it. I agree with many folks that it was one of Mr. King's best novels.

one of my friends keeps telling me I should watch some Korean dramas, but I haven’t got around to that, it’s just not appealing. I suppose I’m missing out.

Rogar, we started watching 11.23.63 and my husband really likes it. I like the visuals a lot, but it's pretty scary/disturbing and gave me nightmares.

Sounds good. I'm OK with Stephen King-induced nightmares in my mind while I'm asleep. It's the Donald-induced waking daymares from seeing news articles, etc. that I object to these days.

I think the only excellent NEW production I saw was about a year ago, the British limited series “Adolescence.” It cleaned up at the Golden Globes and deservedly so. Oh, now I remember, within the past year I have watch a couple of other excellent British dramas that are a few years old. But the new stuff is drek.

well, I can always go back and watch Deadwood again, and then The Wire. I have seen these excellent productions only once.
