    Check this out, Catherine!

This came up in my eBay search for Zen perfume in the sold items, and I could not help but think of you:

Here is an image in case link doesn't work. It is apparently a signed original by Thich Nhat Hanh. It was offered at $5000., although it looks like a lower offer was accepted.

    I love it, rosa!

Thich Nhat Hanh did my avatar, too. (I didn't pay $5000 for it---it was a cut and paste lol). Years ago, I saw that a New York organization, it may have been a museum, had an exhibit and sale. I was dying to go at the time, but it wasn't worth the time and money. I would have loved to have seen a collection of his calligraphy in person.

I'm sure I'm not as "Buddhist" as happystuff but there was a time I was very much into Zen Buddhism. I still am, but I don't practice. I was, and still am, extremely inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh and other noted Buddhists. "This is it" is the core of how I saw life when I chose that as my avatar because I believe, like Nhat Hanh, that "the kingdom of heaven is on earth," and "Peace is every step." "I am arrived; I am home" says it, too.

    Thanks for sharing!

I am not Buddhist, as you know, but I do find quite a bit of wisdom in the Buddhist philosophy. I've read a couple of Thich Nhat Hanh's little books and I have a couple of others in my pile. I recently picked up a 365 daily advice book by the Dalai Lama from a little free library in Maine.
