Hopefully the time between having the background check started and getting confirmation that the job is mine and a start date is just as short as the time between the interview and the conditional job offer (one week). Tomorrow will mark a week and I'm getting really antsy about hearing back from them. Mostly because I want to give my two weeks at current job and get my pension stuff in order so that can start up in a timely manner.Originally Posted by rosarugosa
Got notified today that I have successfully jumped through all the hoops for this new job I was offered almost a month ago. HR will be calling me sometime next week about a start date. Then I can finally put in my two week notice at the current job. So by the end of March or beginning of April, I will be at the new job... finally!!!

My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!
Oh, most definitely a good thing!! Previous Supervisor completely tanked our office and it's just getting worse because the new Supervisor is just here to wait out when he's able to retire.congrats, Klunick....I think!

I am hopeful it will be but honestly, if it's not, it will still be 1000% better than my current situation. I have felt hopeless and trapped for at least a year if not more.
