Mom passed peacefully early Friday morning, in her own home in her own bed. With the clarity of hindsight, there are things we could have dome better or differently, but overall, I think we did reasonably well.
Now it's time to deal with all the death arrangement details, then I can move on to the estate/probate details. These are things that will demand time and attention, but I no longer have the same constant looming stress of worrying about her wellbeing, and that's a relief.

My condolences, rosa. You did more than reasonably well. May your memories of her grant you peace.

Condolences and hugs, Rosa. I was my mom's executor, so reach out if I can help try to figure anything out about the process.

Sending hugs, Rosa. Be easy on yourself.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!
