    Hello, it's been awhile!

    Hi all,
It's been a long time since I posted. So much has happened over the years. I moved to NC from NH in 2021 for my husband's work which meant selling our little mobile home on the river and moving into an apartment.

I had to start my career over in a new place, where no one knew who I was. Which was challenging as my field is one where jobs are based on reputation.

I lost my mom, my brother and my best friend between 2021 and 2023. This past fall my MIL had to move in with us, which meant moving from a one bedroom apartment to a much larger 2 bed/2bath.

I miss my simple life. I miss my home in the river, kayaking off my lot, growing our vegetables and herbs in the garden and living small. I'm just in a season of life right now where that isn't possible due to our location.

Hope to catch up with you all.

    Hello, glad to see you!

as I enlarge my possessions and my responsibilities, I watch, for comfort, videos about camper conversion vans. I’m torn between loving tiny spaces to live in versus requiring grounds to have plants plants and more plants.

I guess I’ll always have that dichotomy.

I hope you can enjoy where you are in this season of your life which probably won’t last forever.

Oh, my goodness, so much change for you! I'm sure it has all been very disorienting and I hope you find a way to bring some rootedness back in your life. I'm so sorry for your losses, particularly losing your mother, brother and best friend.

I live "next door" to you in VT.. and at least VT and NH are quiet and beautiful states for the most part. Nice to hear from you!
