3 day news stories of the day

Here we can post “ news” that media sources have decided are worthy of 1 to 3 days worth of discussion.

Should Kanye be denied entry to the UK for performances? he is, to those who pay attention to the rap world, the most important rap artist of today and possibly of all time. I can’t comment on that.
I can only comment on antisemitism in the UK and believe me, Ye is the least of their problems. no I don’t think they should ban him perfect performing. I think they should be banning the huge influx of Islamists who entered their country.

Are we not gonna talk about Kristi Noem’s husband’s strange fetish of bimboification? Bryon Noem has been showed in photographs with giant inflated fake boobs and tight peak pants and engaging in fetish talk online Are we kind and caring woke people who do not kink shame but instead celebrate fetishes as natural deviations in human behavior?

ok, I will start: The strange world of Byron Noem is interesting, that’s for sure. Immediately put me in mind of the Canadian shop teacher who swanned around in giant fake boobs, claiming it was his new identity. With the nipples popping out on his triple n fake breasts, parading his obvious fetish to youth in a public school. is this something we now have to tolerate?

I watched a video of a very reasonable, rational and calm mother addressing a school board about one presenter on their school’s “career day.” The presenter was a drag queen. The presenter put on a little drag show showing his panties as he performed on top of a table. This reasonable, rational, and probably Democratic voting parent asked the reasonable and rational question: why? What purpose did this serve that supported the stated goals of the organization? Was the intent truly to teach students that being a drag performer is a career choice of note?

    From the Pope recently!

Woe to those who manipulate religion
and the very name of God for their
    own military, economic, and political
gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.
...the world is "being ravaged by a handful of tyrants"...

I ask because as far as I can discern the Pope didn't list any tyrants by name so his remarks seem to be tailored for those who have a favorite tyrant or wannabe tyrant they can openly hate with his blessing.

He made those comments in Cameroon which is ruled by a tyrant so that's one possibility and there are plenty of others throughout the world such as the leaders of several middle eastern countries, Russia, China and a few African nations immediately come to mind to those of us down in the sand pits. I was just curious about your thoughts since you posted his comments without adding commentary.

"The Pope has denied his comments that the world is 'being ravaged by tyrants' were a criticism of Donald Trump amid an ongoing feud between the two leaders.
Pope Leo XIV made the unusually forceful remarks during a trip to Cameroon on Thursday after the US President launched a tirade against him over his repeated criticism of the war in Iran.
Leo, the first American pope, also decried leaders who use religious language to justify wars and urged a 'decisive change of course'.

However, he said today he regrets his 'tyrant' remarks were interpreted as a response to criticism from Trump, insisting he has no interest in debating the US leader.
The Pontiff, 70, claimed they had been written well before Trump's 'comment on myself and on the message of peace that I am promoting'.
'And yet it was perceived as if I were trying to start a new debate with the president, which doesn't interest me at all,' Leo said.
'Much of what has been written since then has been more commentary on commentary trying to interpret what has been said,' he said."

The problem is frugal-one thinks everything is about Trump. Then again, so does Trump.
