The local news gave more air time to the 4/20 marijuana celebration than to Earth Day, which has been barely mentioned. The DJ on the public radio jazz station said the weather on 420 would be "hazy". A sign of the times?

I think those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer pre-date Vladimir Lenin's birthday.

Work continued to be crazy with the refund stuff, although CBP’s system is working better.

And the death of Richard Nixon. Another day to celebrate.

We worked in the Rose Garden for a few hours on Saturday. On Sunday morning, I pulled a tick off of myself. I thought I was safe because I had used insect repellent, but I guess not. Fingers crossed that I don't get any of those nasty things that ticks can carry.

Do you know what kind of tick it was?

I pulled a big fat tick out of my skin the other day. It was so big it felt like a skin tag.

DH had an itty-bitty teeny tiny pinhead size tick in his armpit the other day.
