I am having trouble understanding the ethics of someone who wouldn’t hold an elected official responsible for their high crimes and misdemeanors because of concern over the stock market and a possible recession.

If Trump shot someone on the street in front of the White House, heck, looks like some people would be lining up to comfort him... You know, for the economy’s sake....

Why was the gender of the reporters of prime importance in your mind in your reporting here Rob?

I also question that whatever influence a president does have whether this one provides a net positive. He’s generally erratic and has taken a seemingly failed approach of economic isolationism. The manufacturing jobs haven’t returned and farmers are hurting. If anything the economy seems to be as good as it is despite him not because of him.

Business likes the regulatory environment emanating from the White House.

Let me be clear, then, bad. It's not so much the stock market I'm worried about....I'm worried about automation creep in the next recession destroying lives in the 85006 and every other American zip code in America save the most wealthy. I'm worried over lack of access to affordable health care for those not situated in a border state such as myself.....if things get really bad, Medicaid will likely be cut. I'm worried about hunger in the 85006 and once again, across America save for the most wealthy. You can take Rob out of poverty and perch me at the edge of middle class.....but you will never take the poverty out of me. I know America too well for that ever to happen.and

I'm not worried about trite things here, bad, but rather basic survival. You live in Washington, quite an expensive state, right? Look at the homeless problem in metro Seattle and factor in automation creep and maybe, just maybe you'll begin to grasp my meaning?

So - where does Trump fit into all of this? My take is that his impeachment may be a big enough domino to bring the house of cards that is the American economy crashing down. Though I despise Donald J.Trump, I care about the 85006 - and beyond my.neighborhood, too. I don't wish hunger/lack of access to health care/homelessness on anyone. Should the house of cards that is the American economy come crashing down, there will be much more of this unfortunate trifecta spreading throughout society.

My take is actually quite kind, decent, and humane. I'd rather have Trump finish out his term than have more Americans hungry and homeless and without health care. That's all. This goes way above surface morals and ethics and strikes at the heart of the very truth about America. Rob

It wasn't, not one iota. I only mentioned this as I have in the past made red pill/men's rights posts and I wanted to be clear that this was not such a post. That was the extent of my agenda here, IL. Quite harmless. Rob

Don't drop dead of shock here IL, but I agree with you here. American business does prefer a climate of minimal regulation. True that. Rob
