I had lobster rolls for the first time in Boston a few years ago. Sorry, I thought they were overrated. I suppose the hideously high price of a lobster roll in a Boston hotel sorta influenced my experience.
But I ordered one at another venue, a more simple place, and was still pricey and mediocre.

I love lobster rolls and in fact had one for dinner last night. What I like even better is a really nice salad with lobster meat on top.
The portabella mushroom burgers turned out really well! Tonight I'm planning on homemade ham and swiss stromboli.

love portabella mushroom burgers. A good thing to make when dh gets back, if I can find some good tomatoes. Still none in my yard.
I've cooked them a variety of ways in the past and, regardless of the method, they have turned out pretty good. I had them in the fridge all day marinating in a little bit of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and garlic powder. I then just put them on a pan into a 425 degree oven. They were pretty big, so it was about 10-15 minutes each side. (basically check to see when they start getting soft. You can choose your own degree of firmness) With about 5 minutes to go, I put a slice of swiss cheese on each one.
Edited to add: I've also pan-fried them (my least favorite method - too messy. LOL) and grilled them (my favorite method - LOL).
