I think my urge for simplicity came from my summer of living in a army tent on a wood platform in the wilds of W. Often in cases of hoarding people have a "trigger." The death of a loved one, an illness, a traumatic event of some kind, and so forth.

I think that people who live simply have triggers too. This time in your life probably qualifies!
