As I understand it, Hungary recently took over the rotating EU Presidency position and Orban has been on a "Peace" mission visiting other non-EU leaders. I believe he was in country for the NATO meetings and also met with Biden while here. Not sure why he visited with Trump although I suspect many world leaders are anticipating a changing of the guard in our government soon and are preparing to cozy up with the new guy sooner than later.
